Description:
Database management grid with record edit, delete, add, search, filter and export to excel, database and table dropdown selection, pages navigation, field sort and search in page.
This application fills a sortable, pageable html table with records from a database.
Features: database and table selection, records edit, delete, add, export, filter and search.
Now working with MS Access, MSSQL and MySQL databases.

I have the last release of DBlist installed, connected to a MSSQL server, with a table withe several records.
I defined a primary key, with auto-increment ("isIdentity") on this table.
When I edit a record, it always edit the first record (it erases it) and not the one I choosed...
Do you have informations about this issue ? I would really appreciate any help to solve that.

| | | I am using the dblist program to display details from one query in which I have linked many tables to display data.
There is one main table which contains linked data from many tables. But the problem is that when the program dblist creates a Grid, the grid headers which are actually storing data in the main table are displaying as expected.
However, for fields in main table, which are showing linked fields from other tables the the grid does header does not list any item in the drop down list.
Whereas the dropdown lst boxes showing the fields which are actually not linked to any other tables, display the sorted unique values as expected.
Please help.

How to handle space in field names? When we click on any column header which contains space in field name for sorting, it returns error and no records.
Kindly advise on how to modify code so as to ensure that fields which contain space in field names, also work without problem?

I have tried your application dbList posted on planetsource code.
Kindly help me with the following additional requirements:
1. I want to filter some fields out from the table of the database and dont want to show all the fields. The user need not toggle the visibility of a particular column. Instead he should only see columns selected by me without the toggle boxes. I want to show only a few fields in the main grid and add a link adjacent to each record which will show me all the fields of a particular record in a popup or addional layer.
2. How to do a master detail scenario using your application.
Please help me on the above requirements or better still modify the project dblist so as to include the above provisions.

The name of that field is nuserlevel.Please advise on how to hide this field in a similar way as other fields have been hidden.

Further, kindly help me with the following issues:
Regarding Master detail (one to many tables) scenario- I have a database similar to Northwnd.mdb (supplied with MS Access) in which I have several tables. One table contains the master details of events as news. Various other tables are linked to this table as child tables and for each news in master table, there are multiple entries in atleast two other tables which contain url links pertaining to each news of master table. I want to have a provision in which I am able to add record in the master table and simultaneously add data in the child tables which automatically get linked to the master table by way of linked field already present in those tables. THe arrangement should be such that the relevant ID field value of master table gets entered automatically in the child tables to ensure linking.
